The research primarily focuses on catalytic organic synthesis, conducting systematic studies centered on the selectivity control of organic synthesis reactions and achieving a series of innovative outcomes:
1) In terms of site-selectivity control, through the innovative development of novel ligands and reaction modes, the precise site-selective functionalization of various inert C–H bonds has been successfully realized, addressing the challenge of regioselectivity control in the modification of complex molecules;
2) In terms of enantioselectivity control, by designing efficient metal catalytic systems, the efficient asymmetric synthesis of various chiral trifluoromethoxy compounds has been achieved for the first time, providing a crucial synthetic tool for the research and development of chiral fluorine-containing drugs. Relevant research findings have been published in top chemistry journals such as J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and Nature Communications. It has led and participated in projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Tianjin Natural Science Foundation, and General Program of the Postdoctoral Science Foundation.
